PVM Partners with Pole Star on US Coast Guard Track Management System

PVM is proud to announce our partnership with Pole Star Defense, a fellow St. Petersburg Maritime and Defense Technology Hub tenant and a leading provider of maritime domain awareness, maritime security, and fisheries monitoring systems to the government sector. Through this partnership, PVM and Polestar will work together to enhance the United States Coast Guard's Track Management System (TMS), helping the organization improve maritime security.  

Enhancing U.S. Coast Guard Systems

For over two decades, Pole Star has been at the forefront of developing and implementing pioneering intelligence technologies to protect customers' vessels. Today, the company continues to lead the industry in delivering cutting-edge solutions for maritime security. As a partner to the U.S. Coast Guard, Pole Star develops system enhancements to the TMS to meet mission demands now and in the future for their critical tracking, search and rescue, and maritime domain awareness mission sets. 

With our deep understanding of big data and system integration across multiple areas and platforms, PVM is providing the necessary expertise to design, develop, test, and deploy these TMS applications to the U.S. Coast Guard. In partnership with Pole Star, our team is working to ensure the systems are modernized and scalable to meet mission demands now and in the future. Specifically, we are focusing on top-level design, development/integration, testing, and deployment of these systems. To achieve these goals, PVM will be utilizing the advanced capabilities of Amazon Web Services (AWS) to ensure the scalability and security of the TMS applications. 

PVM has extensive experience working directly with many public sector teams on programs related to maritime security and has a deep understanding and appreciation for this industry’s mission and challenges, stemming from CEO and Founder Pat Mack’s 25 years of service in the U.S. Navy. PVM’s team of big data experts is dedicated to leveraging their expertise in IT systems, database management, and system integration to deliver critical enhancements to the TMS. Our goal is to provide scalable and innovative solutions that can help protect people, vessels, and cargo.
