PVM, a digital services company that partners with public sector teams to unlock the power of their data and maximize their investments in enterprise systems, was named as a finalist for the 13th Annual GrowFL Companies to Watch in 2023 — celebrating PVM’s commitment to our clients’ missions.
Developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation, Companies to Watch is a unique way to acknowledge the achievements of second-stage companies that contribute significantly to the state's economic vitality.
The award celebrates some of PVM’s major accomplishments solving our clients’ toughest data challenges over the past year. In the 2023 fiscal year, PVM has expanded our partnership with CDC to help in their mission to increase the health security of our nation, began advising the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg to advance racial equity, started a program with Pole Star Defense to support the US Coast Guard’s mission, has supported our clients’ missions across the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Defense Logistics Agency, local law enforcement agencies, and more.
“We are absolutely humbled to receive this nomination. As a St. Petersburg native and member of the city’s Maritime Defense and Technology Hub, it is a huge honor for PVM to be nominated as a company to watch in my home state of Florida.” said CEO Pat Mack. “This year has been absolutely pivotal for PVM as we’ve been able to expand our impact and unlock the power of more data across the city, state and country. I couldn’t be prouder of our team and the work we’ve been doing to help our clients achieve their missions.”
The 70 or so finalist companies, chosen out of a pool of more than 550 throughout Florida, have successfully navigated through challenges and exhibited outstanding entrepreneurial leadership and innovation, creating a positive impact on their communities and industries. To qualify for the award, companies must have between six and 150 employees and revenue between $750,000 and $100 million in 2022.
“The companies selected as Finalists is a testament to the resilience and creativity of Florida's entrepreneurs. They are thriving in an ever-changing business landscape, and their accomplishments inspire others to strive for excellence,” said Jennifer Taylor, President and CEO of GrowFL. “Each finalist has demonstrated outstanding growth and innovation, positioning them as leaders within their industries. We are honored, year after year, to celebrate the outstanding success of the entrepreneurs in our state.”
Next, finalists will undergo a second round of judging before the top 50 companies are selected as Honorees. Honorees will be announced in early October.
