PVM receives NAVOBA Service-Disabled Veteran’s Business Enterprise™ Certification

PVM receives NAVOBA Service-Disabled Veteran’s Business Enterprise™ Certification

PVM has been certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran’s Business Enterprise™ (SDVBE) by the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA).

The SDVBE qualification is a “nationally recognized gold standard” that independently verifies that PVM is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by U.S. military veterans. This certification allows businesses to source partners that meet these qualifications, helping them uphold their diversity standards.

PVM is a team of data experts with a 10-year history of success in the public and private sectors. PVM has previously been certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business by the Small Business Administration. With both certifications, PVM continues to distinguish itself as a highly-qualified digital partner to both the public and private sectors.

“PVM is honored to receive the SDVBE certification. As former Naval officer, I founded PVM out of frustration with the status quo to help my fellow Shipmates solve the problems they were facing every day,” said PVM President and CEO Pat Mack. “Today, at PVM, we continue to be driven by that mission. We are focused on hiring veterans who truly understand the stakes of the challenges we work on with our clients. This certification is another step to demonstrate that commitment.”

At its core, this certification is a protection for both veteran-owned businesses as well as the corporations and organizations that do business with them by ensuring the firms that receive contracts are truly deserving of the opportunity.

“People can easily say ‘I’m a veteran-owned business’ when they really aren’t,” NaVOBA President Matthew Pavelek said. “Corporations will not risk the accuracy of their Supplier Diversity spending goals by recording spend on contracts with firms that say they are owned by veterans if they aren’t absolutely certain of the ownership, operation and control of that firm. Working with a third-party nonprofit organization like NaVOBA and its VBE certification program provides that certainty.”

This new certification, combined with the company’s experience, technology-focused partnerships and other certifications demonstrate PVM’s unique ability to solve mission-critical IT challenges. PVM’s other certifications include:

  • Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
  • Small Disadvantaged Business (Black-Owned Business)
  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
  • 8(a) Certification (in progress)
  • HubZone Certification (in progress)
  • Palantir-Preferred Partner
  • AWS Partner
  • Microfocus Vertica Partner
