"When it was time for me to retire, I decided to create PVM in 2010—the only place that I have ever worked outside of the Navy. I founded the company to provide a place where I could work on problems that I was extremely passionate about, with the goal of making it better for my friends still fighting. It was a way to continue working with the technologies that were exciting to me but focused on the goals that I thought mattered most—adopting the mission of the end-user as our own," Pat Mack said in the Starter Story interview.
