PVM, a digital services company that partners with public sector teams to unleash the power of their data and help them maximize their investments in data systems, today announced its acceptance into the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)’s 8(a) Business Development program. As a certified 8(a) business, PVM is excited to announce that we are now eligible to compete on federal set-aside and sole-source contracts. This certification provides PVM with an exceptional opportunity to help our customers accomplish their missions more easily and get more value out of their data.
The nine-year 8(a) business development program helps companies that are owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals by providing training and technical assistance aimed at helping firms grow and compete in the U.S. economy.
“At PVM, we are on a mission to unlock data for good to make a difference for our clients and in the communities they serve,” said Founder and CEO Pat Mack. “I founded PVM to help connect government agencies to the information and insights they need to solve their most complex challenges. As an 8(a) company, PVM will have more opportunities to make a bigger impact and help more public sector teams accomplish their missions by extracting value out of their data.”
The 8(a) certification is the latest in PVM’s growing list of small business certifications, which also includes the Small Business Administration’s Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business certification. PVM’s full list of certifications is included below.
