PVM to Partner with USF on Flooding and Sea Level Rise Initiatives

PVM, a digital services company that unlocks the power of data for good, is pleased to announce a new partnership with the University of South Florida (USF) to address state-wide flooding and sea level rise.

Through this partnership, PVM will partner with the USF Florida Flood Hub for Research and Innovation, which focuses on improving flooding forecasting and informing science-based policy and management to help the state's communities mitigate and adapt to flooding risks. PVM is partnering with the Flood Hub to improve flood-related data management and dissemination.

Specifically, this partnership will include migrating existing flood data resources to enable efficient data sharing and product dissemination as well as data science services to assist in organizing statewide sea level rise analysis, rainfall projections, and flood vulnerability assessments.

Together through this initiative, PVM and USF will improve access to critical flooding data, which will enable the Flood Hub to improve sea level rise analysis, rainfall projections, and flood vulnerability assessments.
